REALIZE THE PROMISE NO TIME TO TARRY

GENESIS 11:27 ¶ This is the genealogy of Terah: Terah begot Abram, Nahor, and Haran. Haran begot Lot. 28 And Haran died before his father Terah in his native land, in Ur of the Chaldeans. 29 Then Abram and Nahor took wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai, and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran the father of Milcah and the father of Iscah. 30 But Sarai was barren; she had no child. 31 And Terah took his son Abram and his grandson Lot, the son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, his son Abram's wife, and they went out with them from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to the land of Canaan; and they came to Haran and dwelt there. 32 So the days of Terah were two hundred and five years, and Terah died in Haran. 1 ¶ Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." 4 ¶ So Abram departed as the LORD had spoken to him, and Lot went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. 5 Then Abram took Sarai his wife and Lot his brother's son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the people whom they had acquired in Haran, and they departed to go to the land of Canaan. So they came to the land of Canaan.

·        THE BLESSING
GENESIS 12: 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

1.     "I Will Make A Great Nation Out Of You" God Is in the business of making us something we are not. Here God is taking a 75 year old man and making him a great nation

2.     "I Will Bless You" God has the ability to greatly bless us

3.     "Those That Bless You, Shall Be Blessed" we become an avenue for others to be blessed

4.     "Those That Curse You, Shall Be Cursed" be careful when you mess with us we belong to God

·        GET OUT

1.     From Your Country - God Wants You to Leave Your Past, Your country can be a place of comfort

2.     From Your Family - God Wants You To Depend On Him, he wants you to depend on him

3.     From Your Father's House - To Your New House

·        DO NOT TARRY

1.     Terah (Abram's Father) - Means "To Tarry"

2.     Terah Was Still In Charge, "He Took Them" To Canaan

3.     They Made It To Haran And Tarried There

4.     Ur  - "Flame Or Fire"

5.     Haran - "A Hot Dry Place"

6.     A Place Where It Was Too Hot To Grow Anything, No Harvest

·        TERAH DIED

1.     Terah Died In Haran

2.     Then Abram Left For The Promise Land

3.     God Will Kill The Terah In Your Life, That Is Causing You To Tarry

4.     What Is Your Terah?

5.     Do Not Let It Cause You To Tarry In The Dry Hot Place

6.     It Is Time To "Realize The Promise"
